Lovely all you can eat brunch with so many options and choices it's actually impossible to try them all. Very friendly and helpful staff, the interiors are cosy, and the atmosphere and music are just perfect for a lazy Sunday midday feast. A hidden gem, but totally worth trying.

Visited several times over the course of our weekend visit to Brussels. Very welcoming and nice place with perfect coffee drinks and beer selection. We enjoyed the tapas evening on Friday which was very good and went back for breakfast the next day (egg and bacon bagel). Treated kindly and respectfully by everyone and really felt like part of the 'in' crowd. Can't wait to visit Brussels again and stop by.

Nice bar for drinks. Very limited food options. Bar staff are rather confused, disorganised and inefficient. It’s difficult to get served. We had one round of drinks but it was impossible to get served a second round so we gave up and went elsewhere.

Hello people from Barbeton, I like your interior and atmosphere! I'm writing to give a suggestion not to discriminate the offer of antipasti to alcohol drinkers only and exclude tea drinkers. My friend ordered a Bolleke (2,5 EUR) and I asked for a mint tea (2,8 EUR). My friend got a paper plate for the food. When I asked for another one, the bartender shook his head, said it's only for alcoholic drinks and walked away. When I was telling him that I was given a plate last time when I ordered a hot chocolate, he walked away more making it hard to communicate. I find it a curious behaviour to walk away when someone is addressing you in a calm way, and when it's not busy in the bar. On the other hand, I find it also questionable to privilege/promote alcohol over other drinks. Maybe drinking tea is not connotated with food in this part of the world, it is in most of Asia. Anyways, just an opinion about the antipasti policy. Great initiative though! Greetings from Barbeton! Best, Sinta

The Barbeton is unique in Brussels, in that it executes, perfectly, Le Corbusier's design for it, carefully working from the details of drawings he made envisaging what he'd do with the space. The place thrives, not only for drinks and coffee, but for brunches, which are excellent, and much appreciated, as are the jazz evenings, by the very downtown crowd it draws.
